Babel.

So today I was on the Clark Street bus, and when it hits Rogers Park the business along it are overwhelmingly latino. Many of the store signs are in Spanish, and as the bus rolled up the street, I absentmindedly read along.

"Permanent Makeup"
"The Corner of Flavor Record Shop: Cumbia, Cha Cha Cha, Borenque..."
"Send Money To Mexico (On your birthday, we send for free)"
"Home Cooking"
"Cars - Good, Pretty, Cheap."
"LEAVE! LEAVE! LEAVE!"

     ?!?!?!?!?

Oh. The sign was in English. (SALE! SALE! SALE!)
