A couple of nights ago I was talking with my friend M about how forgetful I've been lately. I've lost my cell phone, a combination lock, walked out of two restaurants without taking my doggie bag, and misplaced my iPod for over a week.
"I know," she said. "It's stress. Your brain can't focus on anything."
So before I went to bed I made sure I laid out my work building pass, my datebook, my wallet, my iPod, my keys, the empty pill bottle to call in George's medicine refill. I packed all of my things for the gym after work.
I washed my face, brushed and flossed my teeth, took my vitamins and supplements, set my alarm, went to bed.
Woke up the next morning. Something wasn't quite....
I'd slept in my contact.
