My mind to your mind...

Last Sunday I spent most of the day at home, working on a freelance proofreading assignment I'd taken on for a co-worker. It was frustrating because the material didn't need proofing so much as a complete re-write.

At one point in the day I started to feel very peaceful and content, just suddenly, as I sat on the couch. A little later I got up to make some food, and as I was in the kitchen, pieces of Don Delillo's White Noise started popping into my head. My last re-read of it had been over a year ago, so it was curious that it appeared out of the blue and persisted in my thoughts.

Yesterday SP told me about his Sunday. First, there was the exercise in Shiatsu class where he had to think about someone he loved, focusing on the thought of them, thinking positive, good things.

"I decided AN gets my love all the time, so it was your turn, and I thought about you, and sent good thoughts your way. Then I went home, and tried to read that White Noise book you keep telling me is so good. I kept trying, but I just don't like it and in the end I threw it in the corner."

You could probably marketize that word.

What could I do to incentivize people to adopt it?
