Went next door to my neighbor's house for a sumptuous feast, finished off with Hoosier Mama pies and organic ice cream. I met four new people and had a great time. Tomorrow, an 8-mile hike along the Indiana Dunes.
I am thankful for:
my own adorable place in a fantastic city
having my cats with me for another Thanksgiving
people back East who still call me even though I've been away for almost 4 years
people here who have befriended me
a president-elect who makes me proud and hopeful
and of course SP, the best family I could ever want.
