Taking my cue from online advice about difficult rabbit bonding, I reminded myself that I AM THE BOSS and, armed with a squirt bottle, brought the two sides together in the bathroom. For two nights now, things have gone much better, mostly because Mimi scares the crap out of Rudy: She sits Buddha-like in front of the cat box while Rudy hides behind the toilet, throwing me frantic looks.
Still, on both nights Rudy has eventually cautiously approached The Meemster, and we have had snout contact and no nipping. This is good.
